In 2009, One Stop Cleaning was conceived out of an exhausting move-out experience. Leo Aquino, lived in a small 3 BR apartment with four friends. At the end of the lease, they all cleaned for four days to prepare for their property inspection. After all the work that was done, their property manager, still charged them $2000! They were charged for things that did not even make sense. “This is when I first knew I would open a cleaning service business and make something of myself.”

“I knew I did not have the knowledge to run a business day to day yet, so I went working for different companies to gain the knowledge required to be where I needed to be.”

“In 2014 I started saving money every week to capitalize my dream business. I knew I needed to have enough money for 6 or 7 months of business expenses, and a year’s pay for employees who would come on board to fulfill this dream.”

“After spending the majority of 2015 working on a business plan, on February of 2016 we opened our doors.” Initially only offering move-out cleaning service, Leo added carpet cleaning services, then janitorial services & floor maintenance.

On February 1, 2018, One Stop will celebrate 3 years of successful business, after winning two 2017 Daily Press Readers’ Choice Awards for Best Carpet Cleaning & Best Cleaning Service in Williamsburg.
